The Parent Diaries is a weekly childhood diary subscription. Each week you receive one guided writing prompt about your child. You respond by voice or text through your private Story Library. Your entries are stored, beautifully formatted, and ready to share with family.
Your subscription includes:
The subscription does not include the physical hardcover book. The book is an optional premium purchase available from your library at year's end (R5,500 for the first copy).
All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely by PayFast. We never store your card details.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, email hello@24stories.co.za or use the cancellation option in your Story Library.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to your library and all your entries until that date. We do not offer refunds for the current billing period once payment has been processed.
Annual subscriptions are non-refundable once the year has commenced. If you cancel an annual subscription, your access continues until the end of the year paid for.
Everything you write or record belongs to you. We store your entries securely to deliver the service. We will never share, sell, or use your entries for any purpose other than providing The Parent Diaries to you. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@24stories.co.za.
The physical book is an optional add-on, ordered separately from your Story Library. Once your book has been sent to print, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded. Production and delivery takes approximately four to six weeks within South Africa.
We will always do our best to keep The Parent Diaries running reliably. In the unlikely event of a service interruption lasting more than 7 days, we will extend your subscription accordingly. We are not liable for interruptions caused by circumstances outside our control.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email if anything material changes. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
